Silvia nurses

Sophiahemmet University College operates in conjunction with the Silviahemmet Foundation to provide a unique university education in dementia for nurses and staff nurses.

The training has a clear focus on care and is based on the philosophy of palliative care, which is concerned with controlling symptoms, establishing communication and relationships, teamwork and providing support for relatives. The close cooperation between the Sophiahemmet University College and the Silviahemmet Foundation is a fruitful collaboration for this unique training concept and the common goal is to contribute to the development of future dementia care. www.sophiahemmethogskola.se
